Great Britain Cross Country : GBXC

The UK's top two cross country race promoters Paul "Fast Eddy" Edmondson and Steve Ireland have joined forces to provide a high profile 4 round championship.

Entries Update for GBXC - 22.04.2008

Entries for the forthcoming 2nd round of the GBXC are simply stacking sky high at the moment with places filling very rapidly indeed. The event’s entries secretary has announced that anyone interested in riding in this prestigious TELEVISED series should hurry and get their place secured as the 500 limit is very near full.

As of today 22.4.08 over 450 riders have booked in throughout the various classes and 2 race formats.

With a category for everyone from ladies and youth through to Clubman and pro’s, the series is really gathering momentum now and with the two leading off road promoters in the UK at the helm, Steve Ireland (WOR Events) and Paul Edmondson (Fast Eddy) the loyal UK XC riders are backing the championship with vigour and enthusiasm.

The line up of Pro riders is equal to the stunning array of top names that rode at round 1 in February at Matchams Park.

World off road superstar David Knight will headline the main event once again and set his peers a real challenge of “catch me if you can!!”.
Once again SKY SPORTS will be catching the action and bringing the sport of XC racing to the masses as it did with the fantastic round 1 coverage earlier in the year.

With 3 rounds out of 4 to count the championship is wide open and all the classes have that national title at stake.
